Soldr Docs
Guides for the things that actually go wrong, written so you can follow them at eleven at night with a breadboard in front of you.
Start here
- What does Soldr actually do, end to end? — the map to everything below.
- What actually happens when you describe a build to Soldr, start to finish? — a real session, quoted as it came back.
- How do Soldr credits actually work — and what do they cost? — the exact formula, what's always free, and how to buy more.
When it doesn't work
Start here if something is already built and misbehaving.
- Your ESP32 reboots the moment the motor starts — the brownout, and the five steps that fix it.
- It compiled, it flashed, and the board still won't boot — reading an ESP32-S3 boot loop, and why a successful flash proves nothing.
- Your Serial Monitor shows garbage or a crash dump — how to actually read what it's telling you.
- You've checked the wiring three times and it still doesn't work — try a photo instead.
- Numbers scrolling past too fast to make sense of? — watch them as a graph instead.
- Your own IDE won't compile it — even though the code is already working.
Designing a build
Start here if you have an idea and no parts yet.
In progress
Parts that fit together, what else you'll need, the schematic, and buying a whole build as one kit.
Screens and dashboards
- How do you get a custom icon or animation onto a tiny display? — without hand-encoding every byte.
- How do you design exactly what your display shows? — without writing the draw code yourself.

Still stuck?
Ask Soldr directly — paste your serial output or photograph the board. Questions and troubleshooting don't cost credits.
