Soldr Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Soldr (app.soldr.ai, soldr.ai), based in Bengaluru, India. By using Soldr you agree to them.
What Soldr does
Soldr suggests parts, wiring and code for electronics projects from your description, compiles the code, and can flash it to your board from the browser. It can make mistakes. Check parts, wiring, power and code before you build or power anything. You're responsible for how you build and use your project, including safety, mains voltage, batteries and local rules.
Accounts
You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure; you're responsible for activity on it. One person per account. You must be 18 or over, or have a parent's or guardian's consent.
Credits and payment
- Builds use credits. Credit packs are one-time purchases; there is no subscription.
- Credits never expire.
- Credits are non-refundable once bought, except where the law requires a refund.
- Free use: without signing in, you get 1 free code build per device and network per day. When you sign in with Google you get 100 free credits. These offers may change; the current offer is always shown in the app.
- Credit usage per build depends on its size and is shown in the app.
Buying parts
Parts are sold and shipped by Compoden Electronics under Compoden's own terms, shipping and refund policies (compoden.com/policies). Parts currently ship within India. We're expanding to South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East; we'll update this when we do. COD is available in India. Delivery estimates are estimates.
Your content
You own your prompts and the projects you make. You give us a licence to store and process them to run Soldr, and your prompts and builds may be used to train our own open-source model. You can opt out of training by emailing [email protected]. Generated code and wiring are provided "as is". You may use them in your projects, including commercial ones. Some generated code uses third-party libraries, which keep their own licences.
Acceptable use
Don't use Soldr to:
- build anything meant to harm people;
- break laws;
- overload or attack the service (including the compile service), scrape it at scale, or get around bot checks or limits.
We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
No warranty, and limits
Soldr is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for damage from builds made with Soldr's suggestions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for credits in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes and ending
We may change Soldr or these terms. We'll update the date, and for material changes we'll tell you in the app. You can stop using Soldr at any time.
