Soldr Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Soldr ("we", "us") is based in Bengaluru, India. This policy covers app.soldr.ai and soldr.ai. Parts bought through Soldr are sold and shipped by Compoden Electronics (compoden.com), which has its own privacy policy for orders and delivery.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google sign-in.
- What you build: your prompts, the parts, wiring and code we generate, your edits, and compile and flash results.
- Usage: pages visited, buttons used (for example "build started" or "Buy all clicked"), device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and error logs.
- WhatsApp: if you message our WhatsApp assistant, your phone number and messages.
- Guest use: if you build without signing in, we use a device identifier and your IP address to apply the free daily limit (1 free code build per device and network per day).
- Payments: credit-pack payments go through our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card or UPI details.
Soldr is for people aged 18 and over, or younger with a parent's or guardian's consent.
How we use it
- To run Soldr: generate builds, compile and flash code, keep your build history, and show stock, prices and delivery estimates.
- To improve Soldr. Your prompts and builds may be used to train our own open-source model. You can opt out of training at any time by emailing [email protected].
- To answer support questions and send service messages about your builds or orders.
- To prevent abuse (bot checks, rate limits) and keep the service secure.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run Soldr, under their own terms:
- AI model providers that process your prompt to generate a build;
- hosting and security (Cloudflare);
- Google (sign-in and analytics);
- the WhatsApp messaging provider;
- the payment provider;
- Compoden Electronics, when you buy parts.
We also share data when the law requires it. Some providers process data outside India.
Masking
We mask phone numbers and email addresses that appear inside prompts before we store them in our logs.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. Build history is kept until you delete it or close your account. Technical logs are kept for up to 180 days.
Your choices and rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your builds from your history and from future training. A model that has already been trained can't "unlearn" individual examples.
Grievance officer
Kritish Dhariwal, [email protected]. We reply to grievances within one month.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above. For material changes we'll tell you in the app.
