A breakout board for the Diodes Incorporated AP7361C, a 1 A low-dropout linear regulator with an enable pin. This page gives the AP7361C chip facts for the 3.3 V option (3.3 V version per the product name, not confirmed on the board); the breakout board itself (package, header labels, enable wiring) is not covered by an official document.

Every value cites its sourceChip-level pinout

|---|---|---|
| Supply | Input 2.2 V to 6.0 V (chip) | source Features p.1 |
| Current | 60 uA quiescent typ (chip only) | source Features p.1 |

## Chip pins
These are the pins of the chip on the module, from the chip datasheet. The module's own header may label or expose them differently.

Package and pin numbers depend on the package used on the breakout, which is not documented; only the pin functions are listed. The board itself is not covered by an official document.

| Pin | Function | Voltage | Notes | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IN | Regulator input | 2.2 V to 6.0 V | Bypass to ground with at least 1 uF ceramic | source Pin Descriptions, p.2 |
| OUT | Regulator output | fixed 3.3 V option | Bypass with at least 2.2 uF ceramic | source Pin Descriptions, p.2 |
| GND | Ground | 0 V | | source Pin Descriptions, p.2 |
| EN | Enable input | | Active high | source Pin Descriptions, p.2 |

## Build with it
Project ideas for the AP7361C 3.3 V LDO breakout. Each link opens Soldr with the prompt filled in; Soldr assigns the pins, checks power and shows how to wire every part.

- [3.3 V rail for a radio module on a 5 V supply](https://app.soldr.ai/?prompt=I%20want%20to%20build%20a%203.3%20V%20supply%20from%20USB%205%20V%20for%20an%20nRF24L01%20radio%20module%20using%20an%20AP7361C%20LDO%20breakout%20and%20an%20ESP32): Input 5 V is inside the regulator's 2.2 V to 6.0 V range and the output is rated 1 A. The radio's peak current is not read on this page: check the radio's own datasheet against the 1 A rating before wiring. Learning project.
- [3.3 V supply from a single 18650 cell](https://app.soldr.ai/?prompt=I%20want%20to%20build%20a%203.3%20V%20supply%20from%20a%20single%2018650%20cell%20for%20a%20DS18B20%20sensor%20node%20with%20an%20AP7361C%20LDO%20breakout%20and%20an%20ESP32%20board): A supply idea only: the 60 uA is the regulator's own quiescent current, while a 30-pin ESP32 development board has its own regulator and USB chip that draw more, so this part does not set the node's battery life. The cell (up to its charged voltage) is within the 6.0 V input limit, but the dropout is 360 mV typ at 1 A, so the output leaves regulation as the cell discharges. Use a protected cell, never charge it unattended, and stop at the cell's low-voltage limit. Learning project.
- [Clean 3.3 V for a breadboard ESP-01](https://app.soldr.ai/?prompt=I%20want%20to%20build%20a%203.3%20V%20breadboard%20supply%20for%20an%20ESP-01%20Wi-Fi%20module%20from%20a%20USB%205%20V%20source%20using%20an%20AP7361C%20LDO%20breakout): Gives the ESP-01 a 3.3 V supply with a 1 A rating rather than a small USB-serial pin; confirm the ESP-01S module's own current in its datasheet. Learning project.

## Common mistakes

- Input must stay at or below 6.0 V (6.5 V absolute max); do not feed 9 V or 12 V into this regulator (source: [link](https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/AP7361C.pdf), Recommended Operating Conditions and Absolute Maximum Ratings).
- EN is active high; if the breakout does not tie it high for you the output stays off, and the breakout's EN wiring is not documented (source: [link](https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/AP7361C.pdf), Pin Descriptions).
- A linear regulator turns the input-output voltage drop into heat: heat is (Vin minus Vout) times load current, so a 5 V to 3.3 V drop at high current gets hot (source: derived from [link](https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/AP7361C.pdf), Recommended Operating Conditions).

## Not covered by the official source

- Dropout and PSRR table values are not given; only values stated in the Features list are used.
- Which output option and package the breakout carries is not documented; the title names 3.3 V.
