## Pinout
We don't publish a pin table for this part: no official source we could verify gives one. Check the labels printed on your module, and see the notes below.

## Common mistakes

- Supplying more than 3.6 V to the ESP32 chip: the operating voltage is 2.3 V to 3.6 V ([source](https://www.espressif.com/sites/default/files/documentation/esp32_datasheet_en.pdf))
- Using the chip datasheet pin table as the camera board pinout: that table lists chip pins, not the camera board header ([source](https://www.espressif.com/sites/default/files/documentation/esp32_datasheet_en.pdf))
- Taking the 10 µA deep-sleep figure as the board standby current: that figure is the chip alone ([source](https://www.espressif.com/sites/default/files/documentation/esp32_datasheet_en.pdf))

## What we could not confirm

- No official ESP32-CAM pinout, schematic or camera (OV2640/OV3660) datasheet is in the local set. Camera, microSD and header pin map are omitted.
- Listing values for 8 MB PSRAM, 4 MB flash, 4 GB microSD limit and 500 mA supply are not confirmed by an official source and are not used.
- Listing's 'ESP32-S' chip name is not used; the local datasheet covers the ESP32 chip.
- Ambient temperature range and board current draw are not in the local chip text.
- no official board pinout; pinout withheld. The AI-Thinker ESP32-CAM spec/schematic is not in the local set; the ESP32 chip datasheet pin table lists chip pins, not the camera board header, camera or microSD connections.

## Sources
