**Short answer:** open [app.soldr.ai](https://app.soldr.ai), describe your Arduino or ESP32 circuit, and continue as a guest. You'll see the parts, a power check, step-by-step wiring, a wiring table and a full schematic, and you can get a hardware test sketch. Sign in when you want your project's code. An AI circuit maker should do more than draw a pretty diagram. It should pick parts that exist, put them on pins that work, check the power, and give you wiring you can follow on a breadboard. The best way to judge one is to try it on a circuit you actually want to build. Here's what you can do in Soldr before signing in, and what signing in adds.

## As a guest

### The parts

Describe the circuit, for example "a water quality meter with an Arduino Uno and an LCD". Soldr lists the parts, each a specific module Compoden stocks, and says what each one is for. You can change them in plain words: "use an OLED instead", or "I already have the sensor".

### The power check

Every circuit gets a power budget: what each part draws, the total, and whether the supply covers it. When there's nothing in the build to size against, it says so.

### The wiring, three ways

The Wiring tab shows the same connections as step-by-step assembly, as a wiring table, and as a full schematic. The steps go one part at a time, ground first, starting with unplugging the board.

How the wiring is generated: [AI wiring diagram generator](https://soldr.ai/ai-wiring-diagram-generator). How to follow it: [which pin to use, and why](https://soldr.ai/docs/wiring-and-pins).

### A hardware test sketch

Press Generate code as a guest and you get a test sketch for your parts. It isn't your project's code; it checks that each part responds, so you can prove the wiring before going further.

### Buy the parts, if you want them

Buy all puts every part in one Compoden cart, shipped across India. Pay online, or choose COD if checkout offers it for your order.

## What good wiring output looks like

Whatever tool you try, the wiring is where you'll spend your time, so judge it closely. In Soldr each step names one part and lists its wires one at a time, ground first, with both ends named ("TDS module AOUT → Arduino Uno A2"). Steps carry tips and warnings where they matter: check each module's printed label against the parts list, don't move wires while the board is powered, and when two parts share the I2C bus, that they connect to the same two pins. Where a part needs work before wiring, such as soldering an I2C backpack onto an LCD, that's its own step, with which pin lines up with which.

## Changing the circuit

Circuits change. Say what you want in plain words: "use an OLED instead of the LCD", "add a buzzer", "I already have a DHT22". The parts, the power check, the wiring and (once you're signed in) the code update together, so they keep agreeing with each other. That's the main difference from editing a diagram by hand, where the code and the drawing drift apart. More on that: [code that reviews its own wiring](https://soldr.ai/blog/code-that-reviews-its-own-wiring).

## What it can't do for you

An AI circuit maker can't see your breadboard, measure your supply or tell that your module is a different revision. Check your parts against the list, wire with the power off, and test with the hardware test sketch before the full code.

## After you sign in

- **Your project's code,** written for the pins in your wiring, compiled on Soldr's server before you see it.

- **An editable Firmware tab:** change the code and recompile in your browser.

- **Flashing from Chrome or Edge,** with no IDE to install, and a Serial Monitor in the same tab.

- **Your builds, saved** to your account.

Questions are free. Generated code costs credits, priced by the size of what is written, and a compile costs 5 credits. Sign in and get 100 credits free. The details are in [how credits work](https://soldr.ai/docs/credits-and-pricing).

## A five-minute test of any AI circuit maker

- Ask for a circuit with a board you own and two or three parts, one of them a display or a motor.

- Check the parts are specific modules, not categories.

- Check the pins against your board's pinout: no boot pins, nothing on the serial pins, I2C on the right pins.

- Check it tells you what powers the circuit, and whether that's enough.

- Check the wiring and the code use the same pins.
